Obedient Tail Waggers was founded in 2023 on the belief that not all pets are born equal. They each have their own unique traits and mannerisms, and therefore require their own unique specialized training. That's where we come in! Wether it's for basic manners or more complex behavioral issues, we are focused on training the perfect dog for you . As well as teaching you how to effectively communicate with them. This method of training is full of fun techniques that will give you and your service dog a happier life together.
When we begin training
At Obedient Tail Waggers, training begins the day the pups are born. The breeder takes special care to implement early nuerological stimulation at birth. Official training begins at 8 weeks of age.
Task Training

A dogs presence will be comforting. If someone were to have a panic attack, we train the dogs to use their body weight to ground the handler; This is also known as deep pressure therapy.

Alerting; service dogs can discover and alert to a variety of medical conditions. They alert by nudging or using their paw to alert you of the medical emergency.

Blocking; if the handler begins to feel uncomfortable or uneasy around people, the dog can put itself between the handler and others to create a space to be more at ease.
